‚Pj Those who have received a Bachelorfs degree (medicine, dentistry, or veterinary science majors only) or expect to receive one by the end of March 2011.

aD Those who have completed, or will complete by the end of March 2011, the equivalent of 18 years of education in a foreign country (Final courses must include medical, dentistry, or veterinary science).
bD Those who have graduated from the National Self-Defense Medical College

‚Qj Those who have received a Masterfs degree or expect to receive one by the end of March 2011.

‚Rj Those who have two (2) years or more of research experience at a college, university, or laboratory after they received a Bachelorfs degree (except for medicine, dentistry, or veterinary science majors) or they completed the equivalent of 16 years of education in a foreign country, and also are recognized by the graduate school as possessing scholastic abilities equivalent to those mentioned in any of the above 1) - 2).

‚Sj Those who are recognized by the graduate school as possessing scholastic abilities equivalent to those who received a Bachelorfs degree (medicine, dentistry, or veterinary science majors only), and also are (will be by April 1, 2011) over twenty-four (24) years old.

‚Tj Special social students
Those who apply to any of 1) to 4) and work in a governmental office or business and will retain their current employment status after enrolling in the graduate school and have obtained permission from their superior to take the entrance examination.

‚Uj Special foreign students
aD Those who have foreign nationality and, have completed, or will complete by the end of March 2011, the equivalent of 18 years of education in a foreign country (Final courses must include medical, dentistry, or veterinary science).
bD Those who have foreign nationality and, have two (2) years or more of research experiences at a college, university, or laboratory after they completed the equivalent of 16 years of education in a foreign country, and also are recognized by the graduate school as possessing scholastic abilities equivalent to those mentioned in any of the above 1) - 2).

‚Vj Long Term Study Program (Advanced Residency Course)
@In our PhD course, those who are clinicians in other clinical institutions or who are clinical assistants, fellow/senior resident, or medical staff in our university hospital may be accepted as students of Long-Term Study Program. With the accepted study schedule, students may extend the course term from 4 years (for standard course schedule) to 5 years with the same amount of study fees as the standard course schedule. Applicants who wished to apply should submit the following documents:

‚UD Announcement of admission

First semester October 13 (Wed), 2010 A list of accepted students will be posted on the bulletin board of the school at 12:00. Each candidate will be notified by mail as well. ¦Documents for entering school will be sent to successful applicants.

‚VD Enrollment
Applicants who are granted admission will be required to complete the following procedure between:October 13 (Wed.), 2010 to October 27 (Wed.), 2010- First semester: March 9 (Wed.), 2011 to March 23 (Wed), 2011- Second semester.If the procedure is not completed by the date specified, it will be assumed that the applicant does not intend to enroll in the school and he/she will not be allowed to register. Examination fee paid and application documents submitted will not be returned for any reason.

@Tuition (including training fee): 250,000 yen for the first semester (500,000 yen/year)

‚WD Attention
As the second semester examination may not be conducted due to a maximum enrollment, applicants for the second semester should reconfirm on the bulletin board of the graduate school or ask to the educational affairs office in advance.


‚XD Flex-time System and Holiday Opening Lectures:
In our graduate school, we have already incorporated a system for working students to study up-to-date medical knowledge and technology as well as to train for medical investigation. The working students should belong to public sectors or private companies and acknowledged by their supervisor to study in our university (Article 34; Rule of the Graduate School Kansai Medical University). In addition to this system, we have adopted flex-time system and holiday opening lectures from April 1, 2005 to facilitate education and guidance for graduate school students who are clinicians or medical researchers. This system is supported by the special clause for article 14, Approval System of the Establishment of Universities, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Students applicable to this system can be trained or have lectures not only in ordinary weekday day-time hours but also at specified hours in evening or holidays with agreement of students and supervising professors.

Support for the graduate school students working as teaching or research assistants in this graduate school. Aimed at promoting research and education at the school and fostering successors.

Aimed for enhancing, promoting research and education at this graduate school and supporting the students of the graduate school.
‚Rj@Scholarship system of Japan Student Service Organization
The Japan Scholarship Foundation grants loans to students of this graduate school who need financial assistance to attend school and are academically superior, of outstanding character, and in good health.
‚Sj@Disaster and Accident Insurance for Students (Japan Educational Exchange and Services)
Insurance is available to cover physical damage or injury incurred by accidents during study or research activities, school activities, extra-curricular activities, at or while commuting to and from school facilities. Applicants may join this insurance plan by paying an insurance premium of 3,900 yen (for 4 years).

An alien registration card For applicants who have been in Japan, an alien registration card stating the qualification and period for staying issued by a mayor of municipalities issued within three months of applying.
Certification by the president of final academic course For other applicants, a certificate issued by the president of final academic course affirming to complete the disembarkation procedures by April 11, 2011 and to enroll.
